How does it work ?

1. User Access

The user interacts with the cluster through API, CLI, or UI.

2. HI GIO Load Balancer

The HI GIO Load Balancer acts as the gateway for traffic, distributing requests to the appropriate components within the Kubernetes cluster.

3. Master Nodes (Control Plane)

+ API Server: Central communication hub for managing the cluster.
+ etcd: Stores the cluster's configuration and state data.
+ Scheduler: Assigns workloads to available worker nodes.
+ Controller Manager (c-m): Handles controllers like replication, node health, and endpoint management.
+ Cloud Controller Manager (c-c-m): Manages cloud-specific resources like load balancers and storage integration.

4. Worker Nodes

+ Nodes: Run application workloads and host pods.
+ Kube Proxy: Manages network rules to route traffic to pods.
+ Kubelet: Ensures containers in pods are running as intended.
+ Pods: Containers running the applications and services.
